’ I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people’ Ephesians 1:18
The Apostle Paul reminds us in this letter and in this verse that faith in Christ is a gift, something we cannot attain on our own. Because Christ loves us past, present and future and died for us while we were still sinners in the womb we have the freedom to make our own decision as to whether we follow him or not. Choosing which way we turn is no surprise to our Heavenly Father. Actually making that turn plays a less than significant role in His death on the Cross. Jesus went willingly. ‘No greater love is this than one who lay down his life for another.’
I pray that each of you will let the Holy Spirit permeate your soul and change your life. From personal experience there is no greater journey on the face of this earth.
