Praise God for another example of being able to procure an item that our great customer was told did not exist. Not just one, but two, ordered, shipped and delivered into our end user’s hands in 4 days. Another piece of daily bread received and a little more gas in the tank enabling us to do it again tomorrow. Praise the one true King for another blessing.
I was asked last week what a day in the life of War Horse looks like. In a nutshell, I said, it’s the leper that runs back to Jesus. Up at 5AM and on my knees thanking Emmanuel for the AC, warm bed and roof over my family’s head. Another prayer of thanksgiving before my truck leaves the driveway and another when I walk into the door of the office. I’m on my knees again at lunch thanking God for the lunch, among other things. And then once more as I exit the office before heading home, where I deliberately lead my family to do the same before bed. I cannot breathe in a single ounce of air without understanding it is another “good and perfect gift from above” and worthy of all adoration.
Grasping the fact that there is no hope, no existence, no provision, no protection, no concern and no eternity without a perfect, willing sacrifice on the cross, I cannot wait to see what “gift” He will bestow tomorrow. And, I cannot wait for another round of thanksgiving with my Savior.
