A note from our president on Monday, July 6, 2020

‘The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.’ Lamentations 3:22-23

Each and every day I pray, before the day gets started, that God will speak to me in ways I can understand. I pray for Him to use the mundane to speak the extraordinary and to extend another invitation for one more walk down the path.

This past week we had an employee working outside on a critical order. It was only about 110 degrees and when I asked if I could get him anything, water was the only item on the menu.

Walking back into the A/C and having the cool air hit me on the nose reminded me of God’s provision. Watching the color return to his face from the rejuvenating power of the cold and the wet reconfirmed how good that provision really was.

Jesus offered living water to all He came into contact with. Some would drink of it and some would not. Jesus being fully aware of who would accept it and who would decline, recklessly abandoned heaven every day to offer it, again and again.

Be encouraged brothers and sisters. It is not our responsibility to make sure those who are thirsty take a drink. It is, however, our responsibility to offer the Water.
