My company has recently been extended a contract with one of the petrochemical facilities in the area. I acknowledge this is a game changer and is arguably the catalyst for bringing an up and coming company to the next level
It should come as no surprise that when seeking the Lord’s advice on this matter the Holy Spirit prompted me with the following question ‘ ‘if I give you this contract where will I be in your life?’
Satan does a great job tempting, toying and luring one to believe that we must have such things in order to be ‘happy’ and ‘secure’. We must have such things in order to eat and be merry and build bigger barns.
In Matthew 4 Jesus is tempted by Satan who has the audacity to tell Jesus what he can acquire in exchange for His obedience. I sometimes wonder what fear and trepidation went through Lucifer’s mind the minute Jesus began to speak.
Be encouraged brothers and sisters. The very name of Jesus can make Satan and his lies dissipate. Praises of hallelujah will send him running for cover. God owns it all. He created it, is in complete control and can whimsically make it rain down from heaven.
The blind can see, the lame can walk, the sinner is saved and the dead are risen. This is the Creator of the universe. Let’s not sell out for a few pieces of silver.
