Turnaround season continues

A note from our president on October 23, 2022

Praise God for the blessings that came through the door this week. Our weekends, lately, have been nonexistent as Friday seems to run into Monday and I’m trading the 1:00AM bedtime for the 3:00AM wakeup call. Turnarounds are wild and when you have five of them at the same time, the fun never stops. Praise God, again, for the drive and DNA that seems to never quit, and for the resources that seem to keep up. I have people reach out to me from time to time about my Facebook posts and blogs. The resounding first question is did you really write that, or did it come from some devotional or another source?

The answer is yes and no. Yes, it was my pen and my paper and my desk. It was my time and my lack of sleep and my electricity illuminating the dark office. But also, no. And more importantly, no. The words, thoughts and meditations were not mine. everything exhausted from my heart and brain is mostly junk. These organs are fatigued with selfish emotions and misleading, malicious, envious, dirty, hateful, adulterous, lukewarm, viper-like and ulterior motive behaviors. Feel free to fill in the blank with any other description that defines the sensations of the capital Me.

Anything and everything that comes out of my mouth, mind or heart which can be or could be interpreted in a writing or a blog as good and make any sense whatsoever or resonate within your soul as being Christlike is 100% from the Holy Spirit. It is 100% God breathed, 100% God led, and 100% God born. I am nothing without Christ and will be nothing until my broken, deprived, insolvent and indisposed body is resurrected in the clouds when my Savior steps away from the perfection of glory to see to it that I am rescued.
