Finding comforts of all shapes and sizes this evening, as I get ready for bed, realizing God’s faithful provision today was not based on my obedience or lack thereof, but rather on His expression of grace and how free He seems to always be in giving it out. No matter what the scoreboard of life communicates, and no matter how many times I swing for the fence and miss the ball completely, I find grand solace in understanding yet again just how easy His yoke really is.
